Dear Eric,

As you know our group returned home last week from our 2 week trip across China. I just wanted you to know , we all had a fantastic time
on the trip!  We really liked our itinerary!  It gave us a good feel for all of China from the big cities to the more rural areas – we all had a hard time picking our favorite place.  We also loved all of our tour guides (Steven, Ying, Young and Arthur) – they were both knowledgeable and hospitable!   I know we would all highly recommend CAT to others planning a trip to China.  As such, I just completed  a Trip Advisor review and gave CAT a 5 out of 5 and specifically called you out as doing a great job in coordinating the trip.

We had a great time – thanks for helping organizing this very memorable experience!

Hi, Flora,

Interested in the China, we chose our trip based on "The Highlights of China with Mighty Yangtze River Cruise". As it is a long-term private tour, we had different guides and drivers for each of our destinations. We are very pleasure that the guides and drivers on each occasion were always available, on time, knowledgeable and profession. We enjoyed a lot for their nice perspective and personality. I am happy to say that each hotel were wonderful in setting, style and comfort and some meals on our journey are absolutely amazing. Besides, I also show my gratitude to Eric for his wonderful arrangement of this trip. He is also patient as he always made himself available for our consultation. Eric and his whole team made our stay both enjoyable and relaxed.

Thanks again for Eric and all guides. We are all satisfied with this amazing adventure in China.

Best Regards!

Terry T

Guests' original reviews:

Thanks to Eric from China Absolute Tours, who organized a 3-week round trip through China.
We were in Beijing, Luoyang, Xian, Lhasa, Chongqing, Guilin and Shanghai. The hotels we booked ourselves and Beijing And Shanghai (except for a trip to the Great Wall) alone. Eric has patiently and promptly reply our many questions Before the trip answered, everything has worked well during the trip, the guides in the individual cities were nice and very Competent and Eric also has to deal with details such as restaurant reservations, seating in the airplanes or showtickets On our wedding day, his travel agency kindly invited us to dinner. We were with the organization very satisfied.

Last Day in China

Well, we've done it.
We traveled to Tibet by a full day train over the Tibetan Plateau.
We visited the towns along the Tea Horse Road. Shangri La, Lijiang, Dali.
We saw many amazing views of the Jade Dragon Mountain and the Hapa.

Between them the roaring waters of the Gorge
That starts the Yangtze River and sends to Shanghai.
And then we saw some strange sites of White Water Terrace and the Stone Forest.

We visited the towns on the Southern Silk Road.
Xining, Xizou, Baisha...with their traditional art and handicraft still intact.
Tie die, batik, silk embroidery, silver and wood work. And their vibrant markets where you find fresh meat of all kinds of animals and never-seen-before fruits of all colors and shapes.
And the romantic village of Shaxi where time stopped when the Empires of China ceased to exist.
We visited numerous religious sites and a Sacred Lake often sharing and admiring their beliefs.
My personal favorite, Jokang Temple.

We learned the stories of the minority people too.
The Naxi's, the Yi's, the Bai people, Sani, Hui.
And their peaceful and soothing music and dances.

And the food!
Starting from Yak meat,
Mouth burning Hot Pot,
Cross Bridge Rice Noodle.
Noodles and noodles and noodles.
And dumplings of all sizes everywhere!
Oh I loved those dumplings!
Especially the ones you get off the street steamers.
One large steamed dumpling, one Yuen. About 15 cents.
At any local market we visited, I would average 3 dumplings.
All steamy and good and delicious.

And the Tea!
After all this is the Tea Road.
From the plain green tea to just born pale green leaf tea from 800 year old tree.
They say the best comes from the trees in the highest mountain in warm and humid weather. Highest? Because they are touching the heaven and the air is pure.

Finally the people.
Everywhere you go people say hello and welcomes you.
And the merchants anxious to offer their proud goods.

Well, this was our 16-day travel to the far south western corner of China.
And now we return to our friends and families.
We thank our Lord for the blessings and keeping us healthy and safe.

P.S. I played a round at the longest and highest course in the world.
No, I did not shoot the highest.
