Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway will start the formal commercial launch at the end of June. Chinese Ministry of Railways had a Press at 9:00 in the morning of June 13.
The Vice Minister Hu Yadong introduced some related situations about Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway. The operation schedule and the ticket prices were also mentioned during the Press. The 1,318 kilometers Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway will run at two speeds - 300 and 250 kilometers per hour and ticket prices will vary between 410 yuan ($63.21) to 1,750 yuan, depending on the speed and carriage grade.
