Rico Rico Beach Club (Sunshine Beach) ----A Perfect Day in Shanghai

Rico Rico Beach Club(Sunshine Beach阳光沙滩） is a man-made beach next to the Cool Docks in the southern area of the Bund in Shanghai. And it finished the first phase of construction and opened to the public at the end of March, 2011. For the second phase, a swimming pool is in the blueprint. Bright sunshine, soft sands, moist wind, the sight along the bank of the Huangpu River etc, you can enjoy all of them in the Rico Rico Beach Club now.

Travel tips:

1.Take metro line 9 to Xiaonanmen Station 小南门站. Walk east for about 700m on Wangjia Matou Road 王家码头, then turn left on Zhongshan South Road 中山南路. After another 500m turn right into Maojiayuan Lu 毛家园路. At the end of the street (100m) you will find the entrance to the beach, which is just across the street from The Waterhouse Hotel and the Greek Restaurant Mythos at the Cool Docks. 
Besides,there is also a bus stop on Zhongshan South Road close to the Cool Docks. The following bus lines will stop there: 65, 305, 324, 576, 581, 736, 801, 868, 910, 928.
2. Rico Rico Beach is a new resort, which means maybe you can enjoy your agreeable weekend without so many people.
2. You need pay at least RMB 20 to enjoy sun-bath here.
