Man digs extra room under his house

 

 

Chen Xinnian, 64, works on digging a room under his house in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan province. Working for four years in his spare time, Chen has dug out a 50-square-meter room. He said the room can resist an 8-magnitute earthquake and his family enjoys staying in it because it's cool in summer and warm in winter. [Photo/CFP]
