Jade-wares excavated in Hangzhou Liangzhu Relic will exhibit in Shanghai World Expo

As the upcoming opening of Shanghai World Expo, Liangzhu Culture Museum begins with its participation into World Expo in all aspects after it succeeded in being selected to be the Model Site of World Expo Experience Travel of Yangtze River Delta. The quintessential collections of the museum will be exhibited in pavilions including the international exhibitions.

In February, 2010, Liangzhu Culture Museum was officially awarded the designation of 2010 World Expo Experience Travel Model Site of Yangtze River Delta. As an important part of tourist products serving for Shanghai World Expo, World Expo Experience Travel of Yangtze River Delta is the extension and enlargement of Chinese Pavilion and Theme Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo Park. Liangzhu Relic is one of Chinese civilization origins with more than 5000 years history. Titled with”Hangzhou.Liangzhu Culture----The Treasure of 5000-Year Civilization ”, Liangzhu Culture Museum shows its splendor and greatness to the visitors at home and abroad.

Recently, Liangzhu Culture Museum has made an agreement with Shanghai Museum. Liangzhu Culture Museum will lend Shanghai Museum the most important collections, two jade-wares. They will be exhibited in Shanghai World Expo.
