Hangzhou Lotus Exhibition kicked off
Hangzhou Lotus Exhibition was unveiled in Guozhuang( an ancient garden in West Lake, near Yang Gong causeway ) on May 26, and will last for almost a month. The brilliant blossom will be in the mid-June.
Different from the lotuses in the West Lake, the lotuses displayed in Hangzhou Lotus Exhibition are potted in the jars and bowls which you can even touch them with your face. If you are tired of seeing the boundless lotus sea, you will enjoy appreciating those small and exquisite lotus bonsai.

Moreover, you can find 48 unique lotus varieties among 200 pots of lotuses in this Lotus Exhibition, such as Haojiangyue which is cultivated by science and technology department of Lingyin, and victoria regia from South America, which, the diameter of the leave can reach two or three meters and can have a small child on top easily. Besides, the great floriculture master Chen Guanling will share her flower arrangement with the audience in the Xiangxuefenchun Hall in Guozhuang during the Lotus Exhibition.
So, people living in Hangzhou will be very lucky for appreciating flowers in four seasons: tulip in Prince Bay Park, early lotus in Guozhuang and later lotus in West Lake, chrysanthemum in Hangzhou Botanical Garden and plum blossom in Mountain Ling.

1. A ticket for Hangzhou Lotus Exhibition costs RMB 10;
2. Take Y1 orY2 bus and get off at Hangzhou Huapu, then walk to Guazhuang;
3. Don't forget to bring the camera.
