3rd Anniversary of Wenchuan Earthquake
Today is the 3rd Anniversary of Wenchuan(Sichuan Province) Earthquake on May 12, 2008. Although three years has passed, we are still missing those victims and hope that they are good in the heaven. Chinese people, whether in Sichuan or not , they try to memorize the beloveds in their own ways: sending flowers, visiting earthquake remains, lighting candles or standing in silent tribute. As we all know, the whole China are commemorating those compatriots beloveds.

After the massive 8.0 magnitude quake, with the help of the government, Wenchuan people are working together on rebuilding. Now, like a phoenix, Wenchuan raised from the debris.

Because of three years’ construction, Wenchuan has been successful in establishing tourism areas such as Sanjiang ecological zone, Shuimo ancient town, Yingxiu earthquake monument and Dayu culture scenic spot .Moreover, the following three national tourism areas are also on the plan: Longxi Qian ethnic’s valley, Weizhou and Caopo.If you are interested in Chinese minority culture, Wenchuan will be your next traveling station due to the natural scene and charming Qiang culture.
