Tanggangzi Hot Spring is one of the four rehabilitation center of China in Anshan(鞍山) City, which also boasts the No. 1 Mountain-Qianshan Mountain (千山) in northeast China and the world largest Jade Buddha. The hot spring is originated from the natural underground water and the temperature can reach up to 72 centigrade which contains more than 30 kinds of microelements, especially good for the treatment of chronic diseases such as rheumatism, skin diseases, etc. The hot mineral mud area in Tanggangzi, formed from the Million-of-years volcano mud nourished by the high quality hot spring, is the largest one in China.

There are abundant hot spring resources in Changping District. In 1715, the famous emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1636~1911) built Hot Spring Bathing Palace here and it had become the imperial area only for the royal members. Currently, this area is well developed with modern management and facilities and becomes the top popular hot spring area in Beijing.

►Hailuogou(海螺沟) Hot Spring, Sichuan 

Hailuogou hot spring is located on the eastern side of Gonggar Mountain in Luding County of Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze, Sichuan Province. The hot spring is a part of the Hailuogou Glacier Park and surrounded by primitive forests. The spring water is believed to be effective in curing diabetes, neuralgia, arthritis and gastroenteritis. Nearby, a swimming pool has been built in the open air for tourists’ convenience. In this natural botanic garden, one can enjoy a special experience to take a hot spring bath while appreciate the snow falling down from the sky.

The most noted ones are at No.1 and No. 2 campsites. Recommend you to stay overnight at Camp No. 2 which sits at 2620 m, you might dip into the hot springs when it is snowing outside the window. 

►Tengchong Hot Sea(腾冲热海), Yunnan 

Tengchong is a border city in Yunnan Province and one of China's three major geothermal areas, known as "Land Abounding in Geothermal Resources". The water here includes many minerals which are beneficial to people's health, especially for the treatment to rheumatism, arthritis, skin disease. What’s more, Tengchong has become widely known because of Heshun(和顺) town here, which was chosen as the No.1 charming town in China recommended by media. The WWII Martyr Cemetery is also well known in Tengchong, where the famous American Flying Tigers had helped the Chinese army to fight against Japanese invasion.
