Wenzhou, situated in the southeastern Zhejiang Province on the East China Sea, it was one of the China’s fourteen open coastal cities, one of the eighteen port cities in the country, under the jurisdiction has three municipal districts, Lucheng District, Ouhai District, Longwan District ; two municipal cities, Ruian and Yueqing Cities ; and six counties, Cangnan, Wencheng, Taishun, Yongjia, Dongtou and Pingyang. It covers a land area of 11784 square kilometers and a sea area of 11000 Square kilometers. According to an official census in 2006, the total population in Wenzhou is about 7,568,000 of which around 1.405,600 are living in urban areas, as the city with the largest population in Zhejiang Province, it also has the largest floating population in Zhejiang Province.

 , was belonged to Eastern Ou at ancient time. Ou was the name of a certain ceramic pottery, the primitive Ou man lived here, and made pottery. The river that flows through Wenzhou City is also called Ou River. The Old Wenzhou City was found in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, with a history of more than 1800 years, according to the popular legend, when fortification constructed, a deer came fast with one flower in his mouth and then left it on the wall, afterwards, the deer turned into a gout of auspicious clouds and gradually flew into the sky at the horizon, places the white deer went by is saturated with the perfume of the flowers, for the sake of the fortunate event, it was named White Deer City.
 
The great Eastern Ou Town, got its name for its temperate climate, it belongs to sub-tropical monsoon climate, no extreme hot summer and harsh cold winter, with abundant sunshine and rainfall. As the mild climate was productive to the growth, is usually referred to as land of milk and honey. Wenzhou abounding in all sorts of products, the main cash crops are tea, orange, waxberry, sugarcane and so on. What's more, it has a very long coastline reaches a length of more than 355 kilometers, fishing ground are distributed at many places like
