is located in the coastal part of central Zhejiang Province. Dufu, one of the greatest poets in the Tang Dynasty, described it a place of broad land, vast sea, white clouds and green islands.Taizhou is famous for both its alluring natural landscapes and cultural connotations. To travel in Taizhou
, the best time should be April to October. Every year there are people flocking here. There is Tiantaishan Mountain, a famous summer resort for tourists. The weather is nice all the year around except late June to early July, and the early and the middle of September.
There is a civil aerodrome in Taizhou. Huangyan Airport lies in Luqiao area 20 km distant from Huangyan District and 14km from downtown Taizhou. There is also a treasure in Huangyan : oranges. With over 1700 years, Huangyan Honey Orange is one of the earliest ancestors of world oranges. Huangyan District is named as the town of Chinese oranges.
Seafood plays an important role in daily life in Taizhou. A lot of specialties are there : noodles with shrimps, Wu Fan Ma Ci (cooked rice mixed with some leaves), tofu balls, and countless other snacks, most of which made of rice or flour with unique local condiments.

Ancient Great Wall of South China
It is situated in Linhai city. Originally built in the Jin Dynasty, and then extended 
in Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Great Wall had a length of over 6000m. In recent years, it has been maintained. The wall has Dagu Shan (Grand-firm Mountain) in the north, Jinzi Shan in the south, Lingjiang River in front, East Lake in the east. The city sits beside the mountains, while the mountains stand beside the water which embraces the city. What a pleasing picture it is. On the great wall, there are ancient artilleries used by Zheng Chenggong, the great national hero, Wang Tian Tai, Cliffside Inscriptions by Qing emperor Yongzheng and Zhong-Jin ancient port sites. Besides, there are Changyudongtian, Taozhu, Wuhang, Shizhulingshan (Stone Pillar Holy Peak), Shitang and Yong'an Stream Drift.
