Shenyang ( A City with Imperial Palace )

Shenyang is another largest central city other than Harbin in northeast China, and the third mega-city with the largest urban area. Shenyang traditionally is also the middle city of Chinese seven zones, and the largest and most prosperous international city in northeast China. Climate of Shenyang belongs to semi-humid continental climate of temperate zone. Annually the temperature change is from minus 29 Celsius degree to 36 Celsius degree, and the average temperature all the year is 7 Celsius degree or so. The annual rainfall is about 600 millimeters. Frost-free days are 160 or so in the whole year. Under the influence of the monsoon climate, Shenyang has four distinctive seasons all the year.

Shenyang has a good education system. There are more than 30 higher and medium schools, and a large number of universities and colleges locate there. In 1644, Troops of Qing Dynasty entered successfully the Pass of Shanhai and set Beijing as the national capital since then but set Shenyang as the second capital of the country as well. The Imperial Palace of Shenyang, a palace complex of the early period of Qing dynasty, is one of two best preserved imperial palaces in China, and the other one is Forbidden City in Beijing.
