Traffic System of Jingdezhen

Waterway of Changjiang River. The water transport of Jingdezhen mainly relies on Changjiang River. Historically, water transport was the most important cargo transportation in Jingdezhen. In early time, the porcelain of Jingdezhen was transported outside via this waterway.

Highway System of Jingdezhen. Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway crosses the city of Jingdezhen. Westwardly, passengers can reach Wuhan, Hefei, Nanjing and Nanchang by way of Jiujiang. Eastwardly, passengers can get to many cities in different sizes of Zhejiang province and Shanghai. Jinan-Guangzhou Expressway is another lifeline goes across Jingdezhen, which is beneficial for visitors coming afar. Jingdezhen-Wuyuan-Huangshan-Changde Expressway is an important ecological and tourist itinerary. National Highway G206 is also an important part of Jingdezhen highway system.

Railway System of Jingdezhen. By virtue of its geographic advantage, Jingdezhen is another important railway hub in Jingxi province. Many important railways go and come in Jingdezhen. Anhui-Jiangxi Railway, Jiujiang-Jingdezhen-Quzhou Railway, Anqing-Jingdezhen Railway and others weave the complicated system of railways.

Luojia Airport of Jingdezhen. Upgraded on the basis of the original airport, Luojia airport generally is called Jingdezhen Airport by outsiders. It is located in the northwest side of Downtown Jingdezhen, roughly 6 kilometers away from downtown. This is a domestic airport, and by flight, passengers can go to Beijing, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing and Xiamen.
