Shanghai World Financial Center

The Shanghai World Financial Center is a super-tall skyscraper in Shanghai. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the hotel component containing 174 rooms and suites. On opening, this hotel will become the highest in the world, surpassing the Grand Hyatt Shanghai on the 53rd to 87th floors of the neighboring Jin Mao Tower.

Bird’s Nest is the main stadium of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Generally, governmental officials in the news conference and the multimedia hosts formally call it National Stadium, but the public universally call it bird nest just for the whole shape of venue looks like a bird nest. CCTV Headquarters is located in the east side of central business district in Beijing Downtown. The designer of CCTV Headquarters is Rem Koolhaas from Holland, when this trapezia–style building was finished, it will be the most radical architecture in design in the world. It is equally famous with other two new architectures: Beijing Modern Universal Town and Beijing Olympic Stadium, which are also ranked into the top-ten world architectural wonders in 2007.

Terminal 3 of Capital International Airport

Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport was officially opened. Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport has total length of 2900 meters from south to north and the height of 45 meters. The total building area is 986,000 square meters. It is assured to be the world largest single airport terminal. Terminal 3 is divided into T3C, T3D and T3E functional zones with the total cost of 27 billion RMB.
