Indian Restaurant - Tandoor

Great food served up amongst mirror covered walls and Indian dancers make this place quite the experience and worth every penny of the price. At night, you can appreciate the live Indian-style dancing performance. The waiters are all from Indian, and they are striving for being a high-class market.

Although the Tandoor Indian Restaurant first opened its doors in 2003, its official opening ceremony was held only in March. The implication being that it was so busy from the start that it didn't have time to think about a formal tape-cutting.

No matter. With a concept reflecting the history of Indian food, the vividly decorated restaurant is primarily dedicated to serving authentic North Indian cuisine, a versatile choice popular in all parts of the world.

The largely barbecued and curry-based dishes are prepared by Indian chefs who are very adept at coming up with the spice levels preferred by individual guests. And just as the cooks are from India, so too is the service team and just about everything else in the kitchen

The famous Indian dishes include: Chilli Pakoda (green chilli fritters); Mirch Musallam (stuffed bell peppers in a rich, spicy sauce); Chicken Vindaloo (a widely popular highly spiced chicken cooked in a sharp, tangy sauce); Lamb Achari (lamb curry spiced with Indian pickles); and Chilli Biryani. So, food lovers, beat the heat with these spicy and delicious preparations. The worst they can do is warm you up further!

Tandoor also offers the famous Ballon bread -Phulka. Light and soft, it is prepared before your eyes tableside on a hot-plate trolley.
