Shibao Village

Shibao Village is located in Yuyin Moutain of the northern side of Yangtze River ; it is 278 kilometers apart from Chongqing city. It is a tower with 12 floors. Shibao Village is made of wood with the height of 56 meters. Its architectural styles and surroundings make it looks like a heavenly building. Hence it is taken as one of world eight architectural miracles.

Shibao Village was built in Ming Dynasty. Tan Hongs Insurgence in Ming Dynasty took this as their base. So the name of Shibao Village came from this. Shibao Village is one of several high wooden buildings in China nowadays. It is the typical and symbolic buildings characterizing of China's southern folk architectural techniques.
 
Shibao Village integrates the natural landscape of Yuyin Mountian with the ancient buildings. It is also the key cultural relics for protection and preservation.
