Hunan Provincial Museum

Located next to the Revolutionary Martyr's Park, Hunan Provincial Museum covers an area of 50,000 sq. m with a construction area of 20,000 sq. m. Began to build in 1951; the museum was first opened to the public in July 1974. It has gathered together most of the curios unearthed in Hunan Province, thus unfolding the cultural development of the province in its thousands of years of history.
