Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
 
Upon arrival in China's capital city where you will be met by your tour guide and transfer to Jinqiao International Garden  for a three night stay. Relax or explore Beijing on your own.

Day 2 Beijing (B/L)
 
This morning you will visit Tiananmen Square, walking through the gate of Heavenly Peace to enter into the Imperial Palace and the Forbidden City, where 22 Emperors ruled China since the 15th century. Sightseeing inside of the Forbidden City includes the front halls, Imperial garden and some of the most beautiful imperial treasure collections. After lunch move on to tour the Temple of Heaven where emperors prayed to heaven for good harvest.

Day 3 Beijing (B/L)
 
Today you will visit the mighty Great Wall at Mutianyu, where a cable car ride is included, and you also have plenty of time walking along the ramparts to enjoy the nice scenery. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Sacred Way, and Changling Tomb of the Ming Tombs.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian by overnight train (B/L)
 
This morning the sightseeing begins with a short stop at the Beijing Zoo to visit the one of China's national treasures, the Giant Panda.
Continue on to the Summer Palace and take a boat trip on the Kunming Lake and then visit the Old part of the city and walk through the winding alleys along Shicha Lake. Transfer to the railway station to take the overnight train to Xian (4 passengers per cabin).

Day 5 Xian (B/L)
 
Arrive Xian early morning and transfer to hotel. After breakfast you will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. These 6,000 life size warriors and horses were firstly discovered in 1974 and are one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China.

Day 6 Xian - Chongqing by plane (B/L/D)
 
This morning you will take a short walk through the Muslim area of Xian and visit the Grand Mosque. Transfer to airport for your flight to Chongqing. On arrival transferred to downtown for a short city tour. After dinner board your Regal Cruise.

Day 7 Cruise the Yangtze River (B/L/D)
 
Depart on your Yangtze Cruise at 8 am. After lunch embark on a land excursion to the city of Ghost. This is the place in ancient China where people were judged and it was decided whether they would go to heaven or hell. There are many wooden statues to depict the stories of ancient Chinese spiritual life.

Day 8 Cruise the Yangtze River (B/L/D)
 
This morning pass the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, two of famous "Three Gorges". Both gorges enjoy a spectacular view and have a thousand meter steep drop to the water below. In the afternoon, we will have a land excursion to the Shennong Stream, one of the tributaries of the Yangtze River.

Day 9 Cruise the Yangtze River (B/L/D)
 
Today pass the last of the three gorges, the Xiling Gorges. It is here that the Yangtze widens and we stop to see one of the biggest man-made projects in the world, Three Gorges Dam.

Day 10 Wuhan - Guilin (B/L)
 
Arrive at Wuhan in the morning. After disembark, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Guilin. Upon arrival you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11 Guilin - Yangshuo (B/L)
 
This morning you will enjoy a 4-hour cruise on the Li River. Lunch is served on the boat before we arrive at the small town of Yangshuo. The afternoon is free for you to explore this picturesque town.

Day 12 Yangshuo - Guilin (B/L)
 
Today you have the opportunity to take a bike along the Yulong River and visit a local village. Enjoy lunch in the countryside. The rest of the day is at leisure before driving back to Guilin.

Day 13 Guilin - Shanghai (B/L)
 
In the morning you will tour the Reed Flute Cave. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. In the evening you will take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River, enjoying the night scenery of Shanghai.

Day 14 Shanghai (B/L)
 
On your guided city tour, you will visit the Shanghai Museum in the morning. After lunch, visit the Yu Garden (Yu Yuan) and then enjoy yourself at the Old Town. Free evening.

Day 15 Depart from Shanghai (B)
