This morning, start your trip to the Banpo Neolithic Museum. It´s an archaeological site discovered in 1953 in the east of Xi´an, China. It contains the remains of several well organized Neolithic settlements. The houses there were circular, built of mud and wood on low foundations with overhanging thatched roofs. There are communal burial areas as well. Then you will continue to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors, one of the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. They are a form of funerary art buried with the First Emperor of Qin in 210-209 BC, who declared himself the first emperor of China. Their purpose is to help the emperor rule the empire in the afterlife. After the tour, you will be dropped off at the hotel in downtown Xian.
