Pick you up from you hotel at about 8:30am. Firstly drive to Fudan University on Handan Road, the oldest campus of the university. Fudan University now has an enrollment of 25,000 full time degree students. Another 11,000 are studying at the School of Continuing Education and Online Education. Besides, the university’s population of foreign students ranks second in China that has reached about 1,650 nowadays. When you arrive at the campus, you can not only feel the tranquil academic atmosphere, but also could see the students doing sports, reading books in the lawn etc, which may remind you the university time of yourself. 

In the north of downtown Shanghai, there is a scenic street which demonstrated the glory and the humanities of old Shanghai – Duoluo Road. It’s not a long street, just 550m in length and not so wide either, but it embraces the greatest essences of modern Chinese cultural history. So our nex visit is Duoluo Road and the former residence of Luxun on this road, who was a great writer and brave human right fighter in the 1920s.

Lunch is served in a local Chinese restaurant at about 12:30pm. 

In the afternoon, continue the exploration to Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1918, located in the north of Anyuan Road, Jade Buddha Temple is a building following the architectural style of Song Dynasty with a precise layout and harmonious structure. There are lots of precious historical relics displayed in the temple.

Your last stop is the Big Warehouse on Moganshan Road, like the 798 Factory in Beijing, this warehouse was used to be nation-owned factories, but now a gather place of more than 80 artists from 11 countries. There are some good art exhibitions and of course many art pieces for sell every day. Enjoy you leisure free time in this modern art center of Shanghai.

At about 5pm, send you back to your hotel or other designated place in downtown area.
