Half Day Jiading Confucius Temple and Ancient Qiyuan Garden Tour
Pick up at your hotel and drive to visit Jiading Confucius Temple. First built in 1219 AD., Song Dynasty, Jiading Confucius Temple is about 22 KM away from downtown Shanghai. It is one of the biggest and best preserved one in Eastern China and now serves as Jiading Museum as well. Here you can learn about the history of Imperial Exam, and you can also
see the best preserved ancient academy here. Then you will visit Ancient Qiyuan Garden, a private garden built in Jiajing’s reign of Ming Dynasty (1522-1566 AD), enjoying the art of Chinese gardening before being transferred back to your hotel.
