This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and begin your tour with a visit to Jade Buddha Temple. It is famous for the big Jade Buddha Statue from Burma. Then proceed to Pudong where you will notice the fast development of the city. Ascend to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to get a panaramic view of the Bund and Pudong. The tower is one of the landmarks of this city and it is also the highest TV Tower in Asia (468 meters high). Lunch is at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to visit the former French Concession. You will stroll at Toron Road lined with former residences of dozens of celebrities in Chinese history (some free and some entrance fees at own expenses).
Before being transferred back to your hotel, you will pay a visit to Xintiandi Recreation Area, a perfect combination of East and West, past and present. It has become a bustling pedestrian zone featuring upscale shopping, dining and entertainment.
