This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Shanghai and transferred to railway station. Then, you will take fast train to Nanjing. Train information: D3064 08:10 - 10:15am Upon arrival in Nanjing railway station, you will be met by local guide and transferred to your hotel for a rest. Begin your tour with visiting Dr. Sun Yatsen s Mausoleum. You will pass through massive gates and go up 392 marble steps to reach the front of the mausoleum. Then you will take a visit to Xiaoling, the tomb of Zhu Yuanzhang and his wife. Zhu Yuanzhang (1328-1398) is the first emperor of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The mausoleum was built between 1381 and 1383 and its construction used over 100,000 laborers. In the evening, you may do some shopping at Confucius Temple Market Area and stroll along the bank of Qinhuai River. It is a famous night market in Nanjing.
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be transferred to Nanjing railway station to take the train to Yangzhou. Train information: K8502 08:10- 09:28am Upon arrival, your local guide is welcoming you at the railway station and transfer you to city center for your nice tour. You will pay a visit to Slender West Lake and Daming temple. They are two major tourist attractions in Yangzhou and the two are located close to each other.
In the morning, you will take a gender at Ge Garden, which is a classic Chinese rock and water composition. The garden has a number of multi-shaped pavilions. After early lunch, head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train ride to Zhenjiang. Train information: T7788 12:05-14:20pm (only one) Upon arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel for a short rest. Then, you will visit to Beigu Hill of Zhenjiang. Emperor Wudi of the Liang Kingdom in the Southern Dynasty entitled the place as "The First Hill of the Empire" for its unique cliffs. The Soaring Clouds Pavilion standing on the top of the hill is the excellent place to admire the wonderful views of the river below.
After enjoying your breakfast, you will pay a visit to Jinshan Temple. The temple is famous for the legendary story of Lady White Snake. It is said that a monk from the temple named Fahai imprisoned Lady White Snake under Leifeng Tower which was located in Hangzhou for many years because Lady White Snake, as an immortal being, broke the rule and fell in love with a human being. After having lunch head for the railway station and take train ride back to Shanghai. Upon arrival Shanghai, your own transfer to your place in Shanghai. End of your memorable trip. Train information: D325 13:51-15:15pm
