Upon your arrival at the station, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel for a rest. Free on your own exploring beautiful Chizhou city.
Visits : Jiuhua Buddhist Mountain
This morning after having breakfast, head for Mt. Jiuhua, which is one of four famous Buddhism Mountains in China. With 99 peaks, 16 ridges, 14 overhanging cliffs, 18 gurgling spring, many caves, deep pools rare stones, and waterfalls, the mount has attracted numerous tourists since ancient times.
You will take a visit at Jiuhua street. Then, the most glorious ancient temple and main temple of Mt. Jiuhua is Huacheng temple. It is a must-see place there. Not far away from the street, there is a palace on the cliff named "Hundered-Year-Old Palace". You can see the holy Buddha in the temple wearing a red cassock and sitting on the top of the lotus throne.
Taste Chinese lunch at 12:30. In the afternoon, you will continue to visit at Hall of the Treasured Body, which is a very interesting hall dedicated to the Buddha of Dizang and built in the traditional Chinese temple style with an open courtyard in the middle surrounded by halls. Later in the afternoon, you will take a gander at Dabei temple. Then, you will go to Zhiyuan temple to watch a Buddhist Ceremony at 18:00.
After breakfast you will go to the Heavenly Terrace for worshiping sutras up and down by a cable car. It is the best place to watch the scenery of Mt. Jiuhua. If you don´t climb up the Heavenly Terrace Peak, you can´t say you have toured Mt. Jiuhua. There you will see Heavenly Terrace Peak.
Standing by a mountain path that threads its way through the Sea of Bamboo is the renowned Phoenix Pine, the so-called "Number One Pine in the Land under Heaven", which was planted during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, around 1,400 years ago.
Taste Chinese lunch at 12:30.
In the afternoon, you will continue to visit at many wonderful places, such as secret Bell Pavilion, Tibetan Herbal Medicine sold by Jingdan hall, Perfect and Natural boat on East Cliff, splendid Five hundreds Arhats hall etc.
After that, you will be transferred to the station and return to your place on your own.
