This morning, you will be driven to Hangzhou. After that, pay a visit to Mausoleum of General Yue Fei. Yue Fei was a patriotic general in Song Dynasty who was falsely incriminated by a traitor named Qin Kuai. As a result he sacrified his life for the nation. After having lunch visit the Xixi National Wetland Park, followed by a visit to the Meijiawu Tea Plantation, home of the famous Dragon Well green tea. You will learn about how tea leaves are plucked, sorted, fried or stired by hand and learn to tell fine green tea from the bad.

This morning enjoy a short boat ride over the Weat Lake. Embark on the island of Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. Then go visit another scenic spot-Yellow Dragon Cave where you can listen to local Yue Opera in the open air together with the locals. After lunch be guided to the former residence of Mr. Hu Xueyan, an extremely successful merchant in the 1870s. He is considered the richest man at the end of Qing Dynasty. His former residence is a huge garden-style architectural complex covering an area of 7200 sqm. Its construction took over 3 years and cost around 500,000 silver taels by estimation. Mr. Hu lived here together with his 13 wives. By visiting it, you will be told about his life stories and why he ended up poor and miserable. Then enjoy a walk along Hefang Street. It is a replica of ancient street which is lined with a number of souvenir shops. On the street stands the famous Chinese Herbal Medicine Museum- the Hu Qing Yu Tang Drug Store. It was founded by Mr. Hu Xueyan (1823~885) in 1874. you will be transferred to Shanghai by private car. Upon your arrival, be dropped off at your hotel.
