Description :The Nadam Fair is a traditional activity of the Mongolian ethnic group in China.It falls on the fourth day of the sixth lunar month (between July and August in solar calendar). The activities of the festival included song-dance performances, ethnic sports competitions.People of any ethnic groups and religions are allowed to participate in.

Day 2 - Hohhot   (B, L, D)

After enjoying your breakfast you will be transferred to visit Gegentala grassland. Gegentala Grassland is situated 145 km north of Hohhot, with luxuriant grasses, undulating hills,and abundant lakes. Upon your arrival in Gegentala grassland, both Mongolian girls and boys will present you with hada. In this afternoon, you will join the Nadam Fair, the most important festival for Mongolian. Activities like wrestling, horseracing, and archery (the three skills all Mongolian men should master) are the primary role of the fair. The fair finishes with a bonfire party during the night when the young people singing and dancing. Overnight in Mongolian Style Yurt tonight.

Day 3 - Hohhot -> Ordos   (B, L)

After breakfast you will be driven to Ordos. This afternoon you will visit the mysterious Resonant Sand Bay, also know as "Yinken Resonant Sand", Yinken means eternal in Mongolian, In the conditions of the dry climate, people will hear sounds like a bugle and drumbeat in the sand if they surf along the slopes of the dunes. You could enjoy sand-sliding,camel-riding and the sun-set on the desert.

Day 4 - Ordos -> Hohhot   (B, L)

Today you will visit Genghis Khan's Mausoleum which is a mausoleum,only his clothing is buried in memory of the great leader. The 5.5 hectares mausoleum includes three giant yurt halls which house coffins of the Khan, his wife, his son and his generals. This afternoon you will be transferred to Hohhot. After that, youo will visit the Inner Mongolia Museum which is a regional-level museum focused on collecting artifacts relating to ethnic history especially the northern tribes called Xiongnu, Xianbei, Qidan, Mongolians and others. It It is also renowned for its extensive collection of massive dinosaurs, mastodons, and many other kinds of fossilized remains from the Mesozoic period that have attracted global attention.

Day 5 - Hohhot   (B)

After breakfast you will be transfered to the airport and take flight back home.
