This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport and then be sent to the Guangxingtang Traditional Chinese Medical Center for a visit. Then you will move to Daomaoxiang Primary School to get close to see how a local school be managed in China. There is a Harmonica Museum inside of the school and numerous harmonicas will catch your eyes during the tour.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will start a boat trip on the West Lake which lasts about 45 minutes. Embark on the island of Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. Then pay a visit to the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan He is a Hangzhou celebrity, one of the richest and most famous businessmen in Qing Dynasty (1636-1911). He started his business under the Governor Wang Youling’s support and his business covering food, real estate, hock, silk, weapon and traditional Chinese medicine; after his success, he donated much money and helped a lot to the Qing government. Because of this relationship, Hu was renowned in the country and was called Hongding merchant. His legendary life was mostly related with the destiny of late Qing Dynasty.
In the later afternoon, we will stop by a silk shop, and then you will be sent back to your hotel.
