This morning, you will be driven to Wuzhen from Hangzhou. It takes about 1 and a half hours by driving.
Wuzhen is a water town with a history of over 1,000 years since its establishment in 872AD. It lies in the north of Hangzhou city of Zhejiang Province, and at the center of the triangle formed by Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing. In Wuzhen, there are more than 100 hectares of late 19th century original buildings and more than 120 ancient stone bridges in different shapes. It´s just like a giant museum of ancient architecture.
Upon arrival, you can visit Hundred-bed Museum, Wine Workshop and the unique view of "the Bridge in Bridge". Then,enjoy an interesting puppet shadow play.
Taste local cuisines for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue to visit the ancient pawnshop, Folk Custom Museum, God Fortune Bay, Dyeing workshop.Enjoy a boat tour before leaving the town.
Then, be driven back to Hangzhou. End of your memorable day trip.
