Later take a visit to Doushan Street which is an integration of ancient residences and Huiyuan Garden which is the City God Temple of Huizhou. After that, go to Yuliang Ancient Wharf. You can walk along the old street, visit thousand-year old dam, cruise on the Lian River and have a view of the ancient port used by Huizhou merchants. Finally, pay a visit to Huizhou merchants garden--Xinan Stele Garden and Taibai Pavilion. After having lunch take a visit to Tangyue Memorial Archway Group (about 2 hours). It is composed of 7 arches, arraying in the successive order of loyalty, filial piety, chastity and righteousness. Dunben Hall (Nanci) and Qingyi Hall (Nvci), the ancestral halls built for men and women respectively in old China, stand solemnly. Then go to visit Bao Family Garden. As a bonsai garden, it shows the best works of bonsai from different schools of this art, blending perfectly with the pavilions and bridges over streams. It is the largest, most beautiful and characteristic garden of Huizhou merchants. Reputed as the mother of oriental gardens, it has been applied for the World Intangible Heritage and the Guinness World Records. Then be transferred to Huangshan by car.
