West of Nathan Road on the junction of Kansu and Battery Streets, the Jade Market is the place that vendors sell various shades and qualities of jade. Jade is a greenish stone that has great spiritual value to the Chinese. In fact, the jade market is more a place for locals than for tourists; visitors may go in for a long bargaining session with the persistent vendors before arriving at a good deal for a piece of jade with high quality. Nevertheless, there are also plenty of trinkets and souvenirs at lower prices.


As one of the most famous shrines in Hong Kong, Wong Tai Sin Temple is dedicated to Wong Tai Sin, or the Great Immortal Wong. The 18,000-m虏 Taoist temple is famed for the many prayers answered: "What you request is what you get" via a practice called Kau Cim. Located on the southern side of Lion Rock in the north of Kowloon, Wong Tai Sin Temple, a Taoist temple, established in 1921. It is not only one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong but also renowned among overseas Chinese in Southern Asia, Europe, and America.
