Day 1 - Shanghai   (D)

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the guide and be transferred to your hotel in the city center.




Day 2 - Shanghai   (B, L, D)

The Bund

Visits : The Bund, Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Garden

After enjoying your breakfast move on to Yuyuan Garden and the Shanghai Old Street. The garden, built 450 years ago is considered by experts to be an exquisite sample of typical southern garden. Then the tour stops at Shanghai's number one landmark - the Bund. After having lunch pay a visit to Shanghai Museum. It is one of the three best museums in China with a big collection of arts and bronzewares. Then move on to the Former French Concession to have a walk around the area. At night, enjoy a short cruise over Huangpu River to appreciate the night view of the city.

Day 3 - Shanghai -> Hangzhou   (B, L)

Visits : Six Harmony Pagoda, West Lake

After breakfast head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train ride to Hangzhou. After lunch visit the Six-Harmony Pagoda and have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, take a cruise on the West Lake before going to see Hangzhou Community University. Finally drive to a tea village to see tea plantation.




Day 4 - Hangzhou -> Xian   (B, L)

Great Mosque

Visits : Great Mosque, Muslim Street(Huimin Street)

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Xian.

In the afternoon walk along the old streets of the Muslim area and visit the Grand Mosque.




Day 5 - Xian -> Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda

This morning visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. In the afternoon enjoy a leisure visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most important historical sites in Xian. Then you will transfered to Xian railway station and take an overnight train to Beijing.


Day 6 - Beijing   (B, L)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven

This morning you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. This afternoon you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing. This evening, enjoy the fantastic Beijing Opera(seat in the front area).

Visits : The Great Wall of China

This morning we drive towards northwest to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location's strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. After having lunch pay a visit to Changling, one of the thirteen Ming Tombs. It is the tomb of Zhu Di, the third emperor of Ming Dynasty. This evening, you will go to taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous historied Roast Duck restaurant in China.

Visits : Beijing Summer Palace

Today visit the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water. In the afternoon enjoy a half day free at leisure.
