This morning, be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am (or 2:30 pm in the afternoon), begin your tour with a visit to Fubo Hill.  The hill is dotted with many interesting caves in which there are lots of valuable stone carvings of Buddha. Among the best carvings is a self-portrait by painter Mi Fu and a poem by Fan Chengda, both from the Song dynasty.

Then you will visit Reed Flute Cave which boasts some of the best sceneries in Guilin with stalactites and stalagmites casting distorted shadows that contort to the shifting multi-colored lights.

Next will be a stop at a local pearl market for rest, refreshments and shopping.

The last highlight of today's tour is Elephant Trunk Hill, a riverside park and one of the most famous landmark of the city. Nature created this marvel some 3.5 million years ago and its shape resembles an elephant drinking water through its trunk. We'll finish our tour with a vigorous climb up the hill to take in the panoramic scenery of the city, river and surrounding countryside.
