Day 1  Arrive in Xian (L)
 Shaanxi History Museum
Arrive in Xian. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Pay a visit to the Shaanxi History Museum where you will discover how Xian became the cradle of Chinese culture, then take a walk along the Ancient City Wall which is the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in ancient times.

Day 2  Xian (B/L)
 
Today's highlights include a visit to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at  Emperor Qin's tomb. Then visit Bell and Drum Tower and theBig Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 3  Xian (B/L)
 Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Visit the Xianyang Museum housing relics of the Qin and the Han dynasties. Then go to the Qianling Mausoleum. Built in 684 AD, the mausoleum is the graveyard for Emperor Tang Gaozong (Li Zhi, 628 A.D. - 683 A.D.) and Empress Wu Zetian (624 A.D. - 705 A.D.), the only female Empress in Chinese history. At last visit the Famen Temple.

Day 4  Depart from Xian (B)
 
Free at leisure until transferred to the airport or train station for the flight or train to the next destination.
 
 
 

 
 
Shaanxi History Museum: Located in the northwest of Big Goose pagoda Tower Shannaxi History Museum was started in 1983 and completed in 1991. It is the first modern national meseum in China which represents a new mile stone for the museum development of China.

Covering a total area of 65,000 square meters , building floor 55,600 square meters and displaying area of 11,000 meters, the grand museum has a large collection of cultural relics from the bronze utensils of Shang Dynasty (the 16th century to 11th century BC) to the gold and silver articles of Tang dynasty( 618 to 907 AD). 
 
The museum is an architecture of Tang style, "Hall in center, storied buildings in corners", elegant and dignified, magnificent scale, combination of traditional architecture and modern science, which completely embodied folk tradition, local feature, and epoch spirit.

It collected over 370,000 precious relics which were unearthed in Shaanxi Province, large quantities, full categories, high grade. The bronze wares, pottery figures, and mural paintings in Tang tombs and so on, are all wonderful artistic treasures.

 
Xianyang Museum: 28 km far from Xian, the capital city of Shannxi Province in China. Xianyang Museum was open to public in 1962 in which houses a remarkable collection of terracotta soldiers and horses in small size.

Qianling Tomb: The only female emperor of China is buried together with her husband in Qian Tomb. The best season for traveling Qian Tomb is March, May, September and November.
