Upon your arrival in Xian, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. After lunch at local Chinese restaurant, begin your tour in Xian with a visit to Gao Yue Song's Folk House.Gao was a Ming Dynasty official over 300 years ago. This typical Ming dynasty residencial house is well preserved and in 2002 it won the Prize for Cultural Heritage Protection in Asian-Pacific Area of UNESCO. Here you will enjoy the shadow play opera which is regarded as the ancestor of the modern movie.
 
Day 2  Xian (B/L/D)
 
Today, you visit Terra Cotta Army Warriors which might well be  the most significant archeological excavations in 20th century. Life-sized terracotta figures of warriors and horses are the star features at the museum. After lunch, Continue visit Shaanxi History Museum, a striking Tang-Dynasty style pavilion, houses a Dumplinglarge collection of 113,000 historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi. It is an absolute must for every visitor to the city. Then walk on the Old City Wall, the best preserved old city walls in China. Even you could take bike on it. Have dinner in local restaurant. In the evening, enjoy Tang Dancing Show.
 
Day 3  Depart from Xian (B/L) 
 
Visit The Big Wild Goose Pagoda after breakfast, which is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China and also one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks. Then drive to Huxian County to enjoy the painings created by local farmer artists. You will visit local farmer's family and taste home-cooked dishes for lunch with the families.  Transfer to the airport for your onwards flight.
 
 
 
 

 
 
 
Shannxi History Museum:

Located in the northwest of Big Goose pagoda Tower Shannaxi History Museum was started in 1983 and completed in 1991. It is the first modern national meseum in China which represents a new mile stone for the museum development of China.

Covering a total area of 65,000 square meters , building floor 55,600 square meters and displaying area of 11,000 meters, the grand museum has a large collection of cultural relics from the bronze utensils of Shang Dynasty (the 16th century to 11th century BC) to the gold and silver articles of Tang dynasty( 618 to 907 AD).

The museum is an architecture of Tang style, "Hall in center, storied buildings in corners", elegant and dignified, magnificent scale, combination of traditional architecture and modern science, which completely embodied folk tradition, local feature, and epoch spirit.

It collected over 370,000 precious relics which were unearthed in Shaanxi Province, large quantities, full categories, high grade. The bronze wares, pottery figures, and mural paintings in Tang tombs and so on, are all wonderful artistic treasures.
