Day 1 Shanghai – Wuxi (-/L/-)
Pick up at your apartment or other designated place and transfer to the railway station. Take a morning train to Wuxi–a beautiful city on the side of Taihu Lake famous for its natural scenery.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your English-speaking guide and your Wuxi tour begins. First visit Xihui Park located between Mount Hui and Mount Xi. There are several famous springs on the Mount Hui, including "the second spring on Earth".
After lunch, pay a visit to Lingshan Big Buddha which stands 88 meters tall. It's a must see for you in Wuxi for it's the tallest Buddha in the world. Before being transferred to your hotel have a short visit to Wuxi Clay Figurine Museum to enjoy the lovely image of the clay images. Clay Figure, or to be exact, Huishan Clay Figure, is one of the most popular art form in China. The typical image is " Da A Fu", a smiling little boy holding a fish or a peach which means fortune, happiness and wealth.

Day 2 Wuxi-Shanghai (B/L/-)
The morning tour includes Turtle Head Islet Park (named as Yuantouzhu Park in Chinese), an isle on the bank of Taihu Lake. First take a boat ride on the Taihu Lake, the third largest freshwater lake in China and Li Garden which is a classical Chinese architecture and layout.
Transfer to the railway station and take an afternoon train back to Shanghai after lunch.
Upon arrival in Shanghai, your own arrangement to get to your hotel or apartment.
Taihu Lake: Located across Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, the Taihu Lake is the third largest freshwater lake in China, with a perimeter of about 400 kilometers. Surrounded by 72 various peaks, the lake has 48 islets, large or small. The soul of the Taihu Lake lies in the Wuxi Taihu Lake Scenic Zone, which is located to the north of the lake while the area's most attractive spot is the Turtle Head Islet.
Turtle Head Islet Park: Embraced by water on three sides, the Turtle Head Islet, named Yuantouzhu in Chinese, has a shape of huge turtle's head, suddenly diving into the blue water. The main part of the Turtle Head Park is natural scenery, supplemented with man-made gardens. After entering into the park, one can only see flowers, trees and courtyards without the sight of the Taihu Lake. But when the tourists step onto a high stone step after a long walk in the garden, the great Taihu Lake suddenly jumps into sight. Covered by dense plants, the park has numerous rocks in various shapes.
