Pick up at your apartment or other designated place in Shanghai and transfer to the railway station. Take a morning train to Suzhou – a city of gardens and canals. Upon arrival our representative will meet you and your Suzhou tour begins. This morning you visit the Master of Nets Garden and Surging Waves Pavilion.
Taste Suzhou delicacies for lunch.
The Grand Canal which during the Tang Dynasty linked Suzhou to the rest of the country continues to feed an enormous network of smaller canals that penetrate every part of the city. Silk is the most prized treasure of Suzhou. A large part of Suzhou's prosperity comes from this. After dinner take a walk on Shantang Street before being transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2 Suzhou – Luzhi – Shanghai(B/L/-)
Today you take a pedi-cap to explore the old parts of the city, wandering the labyrinths of small lanes or sitting on stone bridges and watching boats drift by. Afterwards, visit Luzhi, an ancient and quiet water town in suburbs where you can enjoy the well preserved traditional Chinese houses and stone bridges and crisscrossed rivers.
Transfer to the railway station and take a late afternoon train back to Shanghai.
Upon arrival in Shanghai, your own arrangement to get to your hotel or apartment.
Master of Net's Garden: Built in 1174, Master of Net's Garden is one of the four greatest gardens in Suzhou. It is located at southeast of Suzhou city with a history about 800 years. It’s the typical Chinese garden. It’s also the mark of the pint-size residential garden in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Nowadays, this garden is a new spotlight in China tour.
Suzhou Silk Museum: Suzhou has been famous for its long history, elegant gardens and its silk products. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, Suzhou has already become China's silk capital. The silk garments and decorations in the Ming and Qing Dynasties were mostly come from the skillful craftsmen of Suzhou. The theme of the museum is "The Silk Road", which means a historical relation between the old Silk Road and the new silk products market in China, it also reflects the exchanging ideas of East and West.
