Day 1 Shanghai - Suzhou (L)
Picked up at your hotel at 9:00am, transferred to Suzhou by car or van.

the equally ornate Garden of the Master of the Nets. Continue with a walk among the maze of narrow streets, enchanting stone houses and ancient canals that crisscross the Old Town and enjoy a short cruise along the historic Grand Canal.
Check in Yijia Kaiyuan Hotel or similar. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2 Suzhou - Shanghai (B/L)
This morning visit a silk factory where you can learn how silkworm turned out to be Silk. Then make the short drive to the delightfully preserved water town of Tongli.
Divided into seven islands intersected by 15 canals, Tongli is a particularly romantic town where verdant green willows, quaint stone bridges, elegantly arched roofs and monastic buildings can be found throughout. Enjoy a cruise on the canal then wander Tongli to see at first hand its timeless beauty. After lunch back to Shanghai and drop off at your hotel.

Tongli Town: Pretty and rustic Tongli town is famous for its fertile paddy fields, rich natural resources and outstanding natives, thus crowned as Small Oriental Venice. The scenic Tongli is surrounded by five lakes, which are named Tongli, Jiuli, Yeze, Nanxing and Pangshan. The town is divided into 7 small islands by 15 rivers connected by 49 ancient bridges, making these islands an integrated area. Tongli is characterized by a large number of buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties, small bridges and celebrities.
