Activities in detail
Morning: our guide will meet you at the pier at about 9am (or on request) and drive to downtown Shanghai. You will start your shopping tour at Xujiahui Commercial District, then move on to Datongyang Shopping Mall.Lunch at a local Chinese restaurant.
Afternoon: you will enjoy a relaxing tour to Yuyuan Garden (Yu Yuan), then you may look for good deals in this commercial city.
In the evening, you will enjoy yourselves at Xin Tian Di Recreation Complex before being transferred back to the cruise.
Xujiahui Commercial District: A large number of marketplaces are there such as: Ganghui Square, Xuhui Branch of Pacific-Ocean Department Store, Oriental Building, Huijin Department Store, Luomei Town, Digital Square etc. what is more noticeable is that the largest number of passengers usually get off the subway at Xujiahui Station. There are many exits in Xujiaohui Subway Station. The department stores generally have the cosmetic section and female costume part. For instance, the cosmetic are the name brands such as LANCOMESKII. Under the subway, there are also many small stores.
Yuyuan Garden: Yuyuan Garden lies in the prosperous section of Shanghai's old city, and is the notable classic garden in the southern Yangtze River, as well as the noted place of interest, historic sites and tourist attraction. In 1982, it was ranked as the key protection of national historic sites. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. In 1956, a large-scale rehabilitation or restoration was done by Shanghai Municipal Government.
