The Bund: One of the landmarks of Shanghai. Once it served as the home of the foreign traders and major banks and now besides those remained European-style buildings, there are chic restaurants, top class shops and bars offering plenty to satisfy you.
French concession region: From 1849 to 1943, it served as French Concession Region. It’s a history book and also great area for exploring, from the old European buildings in shady avenues to the cafes and restaurants and shopping area of Huaihu Road.
Nanjing Road: One of the most famous shopping streets in the world. Giant shopping centres, specialist boutiques, international brands, local upmarket goods, they are all here. It's all busy and at night it really glitters. A fascinating glimpse of modern, commercial China.
