Morning: our guide will meet you at the pier at about 9am (or on request), and drive to visit Jade Buddha Temple and Old Street.
Lunch : Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: We will visit Shanghai Museum and Peoples Square. Then stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road.
In the evening you will visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower where you may have a birds eye view of Shanghai. Then you will be transferred back to your cruise.
Jade Buddha Temple: Built in 1918, Jade Buddha Temple located in the north of Anyuan Road and Jiangling Road. It is a building following the architectural style of Song Dynasty with a precise layout and harmonious structure. There are Heavenly-king Hall, Great Hall and Jade-Buddha Hall on the axes. On the first day and the fifteenth day per month or some traditional festivals connected with Buddhism. The woman and man believers are used to gathering here to pray happiness and Buddha's help. It is really impressive and distinct that the temple in urban city is so popular, crowded and holy.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong New Area on Century Avenue One. The construction was began from 1991 and finished in 1994. The main structure of the tower is 350 meters high and the height of 468 meters; it is the third largest TV tower all round the world except Toronto's TV Tower of Canada and the Moscow TV tower of the former Soviet Union, and the first one in Asia. Oriental Pearl TV Tower is comprehensively used for sightseeing, meeting, exhibition, catering, lodging, shopping, amusement and TV broadcasting. It has been the symbolic building of Shanghai in 21th century. Currently, the number of passengers and tourism earnings is ranked the second place all around the world. It is inferior to French Eiffel Tower.
