Picked up at your hotel around 8:00am in the morning and transfered to Beijing Zoo which is century-old with more than 600 kinds of animals. However what interests you most might be the lovely pandas.
Then move on to Beijing Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in the world that boasts centralized architectural masterpieces as well as scenic beauties, it was originally a retreat for emperors to escape the scorching summer heat of Beijing.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Beijing Zoo: Beijing zoo locates in the avenue of Xizhimen in Haiding district of Beijing city. It covers land of 86 hectares and waters of 8.6 hectares. It was the royal garden in Ming Dynasty. Its original name is Nature Museum and West-suburb Park. It is the earliest-opened zoo with maximum variety of animals in China. Since 1906, it has experienced more than 100 years. Many a precious wild animals were raised and fostered here. More than 600 kinds of animals with number of over 5000 are being kept at present. It is one of the largest zoos in China now.
Summer Palace: Summer Palace located in the northwest suburb of Haiding district in Beijing City. Based on Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, artisans of that time learned some designing techniques and images from gardens of southern Yangtze River and scenery of West Lake of Hangzhou. It is also the best-preserved and largest-scale royal garden in China. It is one of China' s four famous gardens. The others include Summer Vacation Mountain Village in Chengde, Liu Garden and Zhuozheng Garden in Suzhou. It is Emperor's xanadu and garden. During latter-day period, it was seriously destroyed by wars but restored by people repeatedly.
