Day 2 - Shanghai   (B, L, D)

Visits : Yuyuan Garden

After breakfast go for Yuyuan Garden which was built for Pan Yunduan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. Pan Yunduan was an official of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The garden is a typical classic garden-style architectural complex. Later on walk around Chenghuangmiao Bazaar. There is an authentic local flavor about this busy market area, where the locals preserved their unique life styles and customs. This afternoon continue to Shanghai Museum, one of the best in the world with a large collection of finest cultural relics. Then visit Children's Palace. It was initiated by Soong Ching-ling and offers after-school activities to children. In the evening, you will enjoy a fantastic acrobatic performance.

Day 3 - Shanghai -> Suzhou -> Shanghai   (B, L)

Visits : Garden of the Master of the Nets(Wang Shi Garden), Lion Grove Garden, Lingering Garden(Liu Yuan)

After enjoying your breakfast you will be driven to Suzhou. After that, visit Net of Master Garden, Lion Forest Garden, both are small but elegant In the afternoon continue to Lingering Garden and pay a visit to a silk spinning factory. Then be transferred to Shanghai by car.


Day 4 - Shanghai -> Yichang -> Three Gorges Area   (B, L, D)

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Yichang.

This afternoon have a short city tour in Yichang before embarking the cruise. At night be transferred to the pier to board the cruiseship. The fantastic Yangtze River cruise is coming.


Day 5 - Three Gorges Area   (B, L, D)

This morning sail through Xiling Gorge in the morning. Visit the Three Gorges Dam site at noon and navigate Three Gorges Shiplock in the afternoon. The Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River is known as one of the largest construction projects and the dam is the largest of its kind in the world today. The project aims to generate tremendous power and control flood. You will spend the rest of the day cruising on the Yangtze River. You can watch the waterside scenery or participate in activities on board.

Day 6 - Three Gorges Area   (B, L, D)

This morning enjoy excursion to Shennong Stream (Between 08:00 and 11:00). Drifting along Shennong Stream by a small sampan to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and small villages is a unique experience for you. The mysterious hanging coffins on both sides of cliffs may also astonish you. It is an enigma so far by what kind of way the ancient people raised these coffins up to the cliffs.


Day 7 - Three Gorges Area -> Chongqing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Fengdu Ghost Town

Today take a shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (Between 08:45 and 11:30). It is a city made famous by the ancient legends of sinister spirits and ghosts which make an important part of Chinese ancient culture. According to legends, here is the place where the evil people are punished after death while the good are awarded. Tomorrow you will arrive in Chongqing.


Day 8 - Chongqing   (B, L)

After enjoying your breakfast disembark the cruise in Chongqing at about 9 am. In the afternoon drive to Dazu to have a look at Dazu Rock Carving in Baodingshan. You will see the famous stone carvings of Buddha there.



Day 9 - Chongqing -> Xian   (B, L, D)

After breakfast visit the Stilwell Museum founded in memory of an American general who contributed a great deal to Chinese people during the World War II. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Xian. Tonight, a Special Dumpling Dinner is served when enjoying an elaborate Tang Dynasty Stage Show recalling the days when Xian was the largest city in the world.

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda

After breakfast visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. In the afternoon enjoy a leisure visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most important historical sites in Xian.


Day 11 - Xian -> Beijing   (B, L)

After enjoying your breakfast pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, which is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China with over 300,000 items. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Beijing.


Day 12 - Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square

Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. In the afternoon take a tour in Beihai Park, a best-preserved imperial garden with a history of 1,000 years, and take a hutong tour exploring the lanes and courtyard houses unique to Beijing. Tonight, you will enjoy the Beijing Duck.

Day 13 - Beijing   (B, L)

Mutianyu Great Wall

Visits : Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven

After enjoying your breakfast explore the fantastic wild section of Great wall-Mutianyu Section, which is well preserved with spectacular view and has less tourists than Badaling.

In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing.

The Garden of the Master of Nets must be the most exquisite one of among gardens of Suzhou. The ticket is value for money. And it’s the only garden open to tourists in evening in Suzhou. Night visiting is strongly recommended.
