Paul Baker says:

Lhasa would be the best destination. I had bought a lot of ornaments at Barkhor street as gifts for my family. They are sold expensive. So try to knock the prices down as much as you can! Remember, don’t aim your camera at those soldiers and polices on the road. Or your camera will be confiscated.

Gerd says:

I had spent 5 days in Yak hotel,Lhasa this summer. It’s on the street and just hundreds of meters away from Jokhang Temple and Barkhor street. My friends and I had enjoyed overlooking the Potala palace because the hotel provided breakfast on the balcony. However, wifi seemed not so good in the room.

Kiak Lee says:

I have stayed in Beijing for 1 year. And I love Quanjude Roast Duck! But the Qianmen branch restaurant is always crowded with people. So do not drive there, or you’ll face to the big problem of finding a parking place.
