Visits : Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Garden, The Bund, Nanjing Road
After breakfast classic sights from the Ming and Qing dynasties, when you visit the enchanting Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Old Street. The garden covers a significant space and includes many halls, springs and other buildings of interest. The visit brings you back to Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1368-1644).
In the afternoon travel to the Bund, a very important lankmark of Shanghai on the western bank of the Huangpu River. Afterwards take a walk along the famous commercial street in Shanghai, Nanjing Road. At night, our trip starts with an evening cruise on the Huangpu River, which divides the Bund into two sections, Pu Dong and Pu Xi, which mean 'east of river' and 'west of river' respectively. Local people honor the Huangpu as Mother River, and as you view the lights and spectacle from the deck of your evening cruise, you will understand why.
After enjoying your breakfast sail through Xiling Gorge in the morning. Visit the Three Gorges Dam site at noon and navigate Three Gorges Shiplock in the afternoon. The Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River is known as one of the largest construction projects and the dam is the largest of its kind in the world today. The project aims to generate tremendous power and control flood. You will spend the rest of the day cruising on the Yangtze River. You can watch the waterside scenery or participate in activities on board.
After enjoying your breakfast enjoy excursion to Shennong Stream (Between 08:00 and 11:00). Drifting along Shennong Stream by a small sampan to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and small villages is a unique experience for you. The mysterious hanging coffins on both sides of cliffs may also astonish you. It is an enigma so far by what kind of way the ancient people raised these coffins up to the cliffs.
Visits : Fengdu Ghost Town
After breakfast take a shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (Between 08:45 and 11:30). It is a city made famous by the ancient legends of sinister spirits and ghosts which make an important part of Chinese ancient culture. According to legends, here is the place where the evil people are punished after death while the good are awarded.
Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda
This morning visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. After lunch enjoy a leisure visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most important historical sites in Xian.
Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square
After enjoying your breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. After lunch move on to Houhai area, and take a walk in Hutongs.
Visits : Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven
After enjoying your breakfast explore the fantastic wild section of Great wall-Mutianyu Section, which is well preserved with spectacular view and has less tourists than Badaling.
After having lunch you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing.
