Day 1 - Shanghai (No meal included)

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the guide and be transferred to your hotel in the city center.

Day 2 - Shanghai (B, L)

Visits : Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Garden, The Bund

After breakfast take your time to visit Shanghai Museum which is located in People's Square. This afternoon you will visit Yu Garden (Yu Yuan) and the Old Street. Then enjoy a leisure walk along the Bund, where you can see dozens of historical buildings.

Day 3 - Shanghai -> Yichang -> Three Gorges Area (B, L)

Visits : Jade Buddha Temple

This morning visit the Jade Buddha Temple, a popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai. This temple is famous for two rare jade statues of Buddha and a big collection of the Buddhist Books and Records. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Yichang. pay a visit to the Chinese Sturgeon Museum. It was built in 1987 by the Chinese Sturgeon Research Institute to preserve this rare species in the Yangtze River area. At night be transferred to the pier to board the cruiseship. The fantastic Yangtze River cruise is coming.

Day 4 - Three Gorges Area (B, L, D)

After enjoying your breakfast sail through Xiling Gorge in the morning. Visit the Three Gorges Dam site at noon and navigate Three Gorges Shiplock in the afternoon. The Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River is known as one of the largest construction projects and the dam is the largest of its kind in the world today. The project aims to generate tremendous power and control flood. You will spend the rest of the day cruising on the Yangtze River. You can watch the waterside scenery or participate in activities on board.

Day 5 - Three Gorges Area (B, L, D)

After enjoying your breakfast enjoy excursion to Shennong Stream (Between 08:00 and 11:00). Drifting along Shennong Stream by a small sampan to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and small villages is a unique experience for you. The mysterious hanging coffins on both sides of cliffs may also astonish you. It is an enigma so far by what kind of way the ancient people raised these coffins up to the cliffs.

Day 6 - Three Gorges Area -> Chongqing (B, L, D)

Visits : Fengdu Ghost Town

Today take a shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (Between 08:45 and 11:30). It is a city made famous by the ancient legends of sinister spirits and ghosts which make an important part of Chinese ancient culture. According to legends, here is the place where the evil people are punished after death while the good are awarded. Tomorrow you will arrive in Chongqing.

Day 7 - Chongqing -> Xian (B, L, D)

Visits : Great Mosque, Shaanxi History Museum

Today disembark the cruise in Chongqing at about 9 am. you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Xian.

After lunch you will visit Shaanxi Historical Museum, Grand Mosque and Muslim Street.

Day 8 - Xian (B, L)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda

This morning visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. After lunch enjoy a leisure visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most important historical sites in Xian.

Day 9 - Xian -> Beijing (B, L)

Visits : Temple of Heaven

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Beijing.

After lunch you will visit the Temple of Heaven which is one of the important landmarks of Beijing.

Day 10 - Beijing (B, L)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace

After breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. This afternoon leave for the Summer Palace. Afterwards, you will enjoy a rickshaw tour in the old Hutong and visit a local family . Be picked up from your hotel at about 18:30pm and driven to Liyuan Theatre. Our English-speaking guide will lead you in. Enjoy Beijing Opera at a good seat, from 19:30pm-20:50pm. Now you can appreciate some classic episodes, performed by professional opera artists. At the end of the show, send you back to hotel.

Day 11 - Beijing (B, L, D)

Visits : Wall of China, Ming Thirteen Tombs

After breakfast we drive towards northwest to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall.Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location's strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. In the afternoon visit Changling Tomb where emperor Yongle and his empress are buried is the first as well as the largest one of all the Ming Tombs and explore the silk street. This evening, you will go to taste the most authentic food in Beijing- Beijing Duck.

Day 12 - Beijing (B)

Free till being transfered to the airport. End of the fabulous tour in China.
