Day 1 - Beijing (No meal included)

Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.

Day 2 - Beijing (B, L, D)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Summer Palace

This morning you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. After lunch visit the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water. This evening, you will go to taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous historied Roast Duck restaurant in China.

Day 3 - Beijing (B, L)

Visits : The Great Wall of China

After enjoying your breakfast have a day excursion to Badaling Great Wall and Changling Tomb. Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location´s strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. On the way back pay an exterior visit to the two Olympic venues, the Birds Nest and Water Cube. This evening, enjoy the fantastic Beijing Opera(seat in the VIP area).

Day 4 - Beijing -> Xian (B, L)

Visits : Temple of Heaven

Today you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing. You will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Xian.

Day 5 - Xian (B, L, D)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, Great Mosque, Muslim Street（Huimin Street）

This morning visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. In the afternoon walk along the old streets of the Muslim area and visit the Grand Mosque. Tonight, enjoy delicious Dumplings Banquet.

Day 6 - Xian -> Guilin (B, L)

Visits : The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall

This morning visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is four kms south of Xi´an and many regard it as a symbol of the city. After that, go to city wall to appreciate the oldest and best preserved one in China. After having lunch you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Guilin.

Day 7 - Guilin -> Yangshuo -> Guilin (B, L)

After enjoying your breakfast make this day with trip to Li River Cruise to witness the spectacular limestone rock formations and rural life along the riverbanks. After lunch, stop at Yangshuo, a small town set in the lush rice paddies and surrounded by meandering rivers and limestone peaks. In the afternoon take a cycling tour around Yangshuo to see the rural scenery. Then be transferred to Guilin by car.

Day 8 - Guilin -> Chongqing -> Three Gorges Area (B, L, D)

Visits : The Liberation Stele, Chongqing Peoples Hall

Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Chongqing.
In the afternoon go to Eling Park, a good scenic location, ascend to the highest place of Chongqing, have a bird eye view of the city. And the symbolic architecture in the city--People´s Hall of Chongqing, its construction began in 1951, but its design is traditional and mirrors those of China´s ancient classical dynasties. It somewhat resembles an enlarged version of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Next stop is Jiefangbei, or Liberation Monument Commercial area, it was completed in 1954 to memorize China´s resistance war and establishment of new government, one of the top 10 classic architectures in 20th century Asia. Day 9 - Three Gorges Area (B, L, D)

A top tourist attraction in Three Gorges Area

Visits : Fengdu Ghost Town

After enjoying your breakfast sail on the Yangtze River. Enjoy shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost Town. Located on the northern bank of the River, Fengdu got its name of Ghost Town by the ancient legends of sinister spirits and terrible ghosts which are part of Chinese culture.

Day 10 - Three Gorges Area -> Yichang (B, L, D)

Visits : White Emperor City (Baidi Town)

After enjoying your breakfast you may choose to take a shore excursion to the White King City (optional) or participate in the activities on board. Today you will pass through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. In the afternoon take an excursion to the Small Gorges or Shennong Stream. Tomorrow you will arrive in Yichang.

Day 11 - Yichang -> Shanghai (B, L)

After enjoying your breakfast our guide will guide you to the Three Gorges Dam which is considered the greatest water construction in China. After the visit, go back to the ship and have lunch there. Then tidy your things up and get disembarked. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Shanghai.

Day 12 - Shanghai (B, L)

Visits : Nanjing Road, Shanghai Museum, The Bund, Yuyuan Garden

After enjoying your breakfast explore Shanghai Museum. It is one of the three best museums in China. Then have a free walk along the Bund, which is lined with many historical buildings. Our guide will tell you stories once happening there. After that, stroll freely along Nanjing Road, the most famous pedestrian street in Shanghai. After having lunch you will will visit Yuyuan Garden, an age-old garden where you can get a close touch with Chinese traditional architecture.

Day 13 - Shanghai -> Suzhou (B, L)

Visits : Suzhou Silk Museum, Humble Administrator Garden, Tiger Hill

After breakfast This morning take a train to Suzhou. After that, you will go visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, which is considered the most beautiful garden-style architectural complex in China. Have a free walk around the garden and you will get totally refreshed. Then pay a visit to Suzhou Silk Museum, where you can get to know about silk in China. And then take a boat ride on the Grand Canal to watch the waterside city view. After lunch climb to the popular tourist destination-Tiger Hill.It is known for its natural beauty as well as historical sites with poetry and calligraphy carved into rocks.

Day 14 - Suzhou -> Hangzhou (B, L)

Today go to Tongli, which is a particularly romantic town where verdant green willows, quaint stone bridges, elegantly arched roofs and monastic buildings can be found throughout. Then visit Suzhou Embroidery Research Institute In the afternoon head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train ride to Hangzhou.

Day 15 - Hangzhou -> Shanghai (B, L)

Visits : Lingyin Temple

After breakfast you will have a West Lake cruise. You are sure to revel in the Lake's charm. It likes a landscape painting, will cause you to marvel at its beauty and will perhaps make you feel as though you have stepped into a land of magic and fantasy.
After the cruise, you will view fish at Flower Harbor Park. After lunch pay a visit to Lingyin Temple which is the biggest Buddhist temple in southeast of China and the nearby Peak Flying Afar. Afterwards, have a free walk along Hefang Street. Then you will transfered to Hangzhou railway station and take an overnight train to Shanghai.

Day 16 - Shanghai (B)

Free till being transfered to the airport. End of the fabulous tour in China.

Should be Maitreya Buddha.I learned the name from my Chinese friend when I was studying Chinese in Hangzhou. They had his big statue in Wushan Square.
