Beijing - Xian - Chongqing - Three Gorges Area - Shanghai - Yichang
Description : Covering an area of 9,600,000 square kilometers with a written history of more than 5000 years, China is rich both in natural scenery and social culture. By a visit to Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and leisure cruise tour on the mighty Yangtze River, you will get to know China in both senses.

Day 1 - Beijing (No meal included)
Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.
Day 2 - Beijing (B, L, D)
Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace
After breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. After having lunch visit the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi.It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water. This evening, you will go to taste the most authentic food in Beijing- Beijing Duck.
Day 3 - Beijing (B, L)
Visits : Mutianyu Great Wall
Today explore the fantastic wild section of Great wall-Mutianyu Section, which is well preserved with spectacular view and has less tourists than Badaling. After having lunch enjoy a half day free at leisure.
This evening you may choose to enjoy fantastic Beijing Opera. It is optional.
Day 4 - Beijing -> Xian (B, L, D)
Visits : Temple of Heaven
After enjoying your breakfast you will visit the Temple of Heaven which is one of the important landmarks of Beijing. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Xian. Tonight, enjoy delicious Dumplings Banquet.
Day 5 - Xian (B, L)
Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall
Today visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. This afternoon visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is four kms south of Xi'an and many regard it as a symbol of the city. After that, go to city wall to appreciate the oldest and best preserved one in China. In the evening, you will enjoy Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing performance.
Day 6 - Xian -> Chongqing -> Three Gorges Area (B, L, D)
Today be driven to explore Hanyang Mausoleum. As the tomb of Liuqi, one emperor in Xihan Dynasty and his wife, it is the first underground history site in the world. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Chongqing. stroll at the People's Square and then move on to Chongqin Zoo to see the lovely Pandas.Then you will pay a visit to a free market. At night be transferred to the pier to board the cruiseship. The fantastic Yangtze River cruise is coming.
Day 7 - Three Gorges Area (B, L, D)
Visits : Fengdu Ghost Town
This morning sail on the Yangtze River. Enjoy shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost Town. Located on the northern bank of the River, Fengdu got its name of Ghost Town by the ancient legends of sinister spirits and terrible ghosts which are part of Chinese culture.
Day 8 - Three Gorges Area -> Yichang (B, L, D)
Visits : White Emperor City (Baidi Town)
After breakfast you may choose to take a shore excursion to the White King City (optional) or participate in the activities on board. Today you will pass through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. In the afternoon take an excursion to the Small Gorges or Shennong Stream. Tomorrow you will arrive in Yichang.
Day 9 - Yichang -> Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast our guide will guide you to the Three Gorges Dam which is considered the greatest water construction in China. After the visit, go back to the ship and have lunch there. Then tidy your things up and get disembarked. After having lunch you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Shanghai.
Day 10 - Shanghai (B, L, D)
Visits : Nanjing Road, The Bund, Shanghai Museum
This morning travel to the Bund, a very important lankmark of Shanghai on the western bank of the Huangpu River. Afterwards take a walk along the famous commercial street in Shanghai, Nanjing Road. In the afternoon take half day trip to Shanghai Museum. As one of the three most important museums in China, it has a big collection of bronze wares. In the evening, you will enjoy a fantastic acrobatic performance.
