Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.




Day 2 - Lhasa   (B, L)

Barkhor Street

Visits : Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace

Today your tour starts from Potala Palace, the symbol of Lhasa and the regional capital of Tibet. To protect the palace, now each traveler is allowed to visit it for one hour. Then go to Jokhang Monastery. Of course, you should not miss Barkhor Street nearby, the biggest bazaar for the Tibetans.

Day 3 - Lhasa -> Shigatse   (B, L)

This morning you will be driven to Shigatse. You will visit Pelkor Chode Monastery en route. It is a huge temple with a unique history and a wealth of Buddhist art. The Monastery was founded in 1418. Originally the compund housed approximately 15 different monastaries, made up of three different sects in a rare instance of tolerance amongst the Tibetan orders of Buddhism


Day 4 - Shigatse -> Dingri County   (B, L, D)

Visits : Tashilhunpo Monastery

This morning you will visit the Tashilhumpo Monastery, one of the four greatest monasteries of the Gelugpa School of Tibetan Buddhism. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Dingri County.



Day 5 - Dingri County -> Shigatse   (B, L, D)

A top tourist attraction in Dingri County

Today, you will visit Rongbuk Temple, the highest altitude monastery on the planet and a vantage point for watching Mount Qomolangma. Then you will travel to the Everest Base Camp by eco-friendly coach. It is absolutely a breath-taking experience to stare up at the world´s highest mountain from so close a position. Then you will be transferred to Shigatse by private car.

Day 6 - Shigatse -> Lhasa   (B, L)

Norbulingka

Visits : Norbulingka

This morning you will be driven to Lhasa. You will pay a visit to Norbulingka. It is a summer resort for different generations of Dalai Lamas, where they could take care of local affairs.



Day 7 - Lhasa   (B)

After breakfast you will be transfered to the airport and take flight back home.

I went to a bar named Makye Ame s when I was traveled in Tibet last August. It’s very near to the Barkhor Street.Sitting at the flat, wow, I even can see the whole Barkhor street.And,btw,guest books are on the table for sharing travelers feelings. Useful!
