5 Days Bicycle tour with cooking class in Guilin, Yangshuo

Day 1 Arrive in Guilin

Upon arrival, you will be met by your local English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to freshen up or explore the neighbourhood of your hotel on your own.

Accommodation: Xishan Business Hotel or similar

Day 2 Guilin - Yangshuo (B/L)

Meet your group members in the lobby. Take a half-day city tour to the Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave. After having lunch in a local Chinese restaurant you take a scenic Take a cooking class in Yangshuo

drive for Yangshuo. Take a cruise tour on the Li River. Start from Yangshuo, travel all the way to Fuli town and get back to Yangshuo, enjoying the picturesque sceneries on both side of the river. After disembarkation you will be transferred to the hotel for checking in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the charming town.

Day 3 Yangshuo (B/L)

After breakfast, drive you to Yangshuo Cooking School to learn how to cook real Chinese foods in a traditional setting. The school is in our traditional Chinese farmhouse of the beautiful countryside just outside Yangshuo. The duration for the class is from 09:30am to 11:30am. (Or 13:30pm-15:30pm)

Afternoon, take a bicycle tour to a village in the countryside, have a close look at the way the local peasants work and live, bike or walk along the Yulong River. Afterwards, go to Moon hill, hiking to the top for a fantastic view.

Tonight you may have happy hours on the famour West Street or choose to enjoy a wonderful show named Impression Sanjie Liu. Directed by China's famous film director Zhang Yimou, this is the first revolutionary performance with real landscapes and new concept.

Day 4 Yangshuo - Longsheng (B/L)

After breakfast, take a coach to visit the ancient bridges: Dragon Bridge and Fuli Bridge. Have lunch in Guilin on the way to Longsheng Pingan minority village is located 78km northwest to Guilin. The village is not only well-known for its terraces, but also the amazing development since the implement of the Opening up and Reform policy.

Accommodation: Village wooden hostel

Day 5 Longsheng - Guilin - Depart (B/L)

Continue exploring the natural wonder of scenic rice terraces and ethnic village culture in the morning. Transfer back to Guilin airport or railway station, take your flight or train ride home or next destination.
