Travel in China by Super-High-Speed Train

Overview:

In China, High Speed Rail refers to any train service with an average speed of 200 km per hour or higher. Currently China already has one of the world’s most extensive high-speed rail networks. Taking the tour, you will experience the super-high-speed train from Wuhan to Guangzhou which was put into use on Dec. 26, 2009. It covers 968 km in 3 hours with an average speed of 310 km per hour. And its top speed is 350 km per hour. With an average speed over 300 km per hour, it is one of the 2 super-high-speed rail lines that have already been finished. The other one is Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway. The Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway covers 113.5 km in 30 minutes with an average speed of 320 kilometres per hour and its top speed is around 350km per hour.

Itinerary:

Day 01 Arrival in Beijing (No meals included)

Upon arrival in Beijing airport, be transferred to your hotel. Free on your own.

Day 02 Beijing (B/L/-)

Have day trip to Badalin section of Great Wall, Changling-one of Ming Tombs.

Day 03 Beijing (B/L/D)

Have a city tour to Tian’anmeng Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
Enjoy Peking Toasted duck dinner.

Day 04 Beijing-Zhengzhou-Luoyang by flight of CZ3116 1025-1150AM + private vehicle (B/L/-)

After breakfast, be transferred to airport to fly to Zhengzhou.
Upon arrival, be met by local guide and driver. Then, drive you to Luoyang hotel for check-in. Free on your own.

Day 05 Luoyang (B/L/-)

Have a day tour to the famous Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple.
Then, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 06 Luoyang-Zhengzhou by private vehicle (B/L/-)

Morning, take one and half hours’ driving to Shaolin Temple for a visit, including Shaolin Kungfu Show.

Afternoon, drive you to Zhengzhou hotel for check in. Free on your own.

Day 07 Zhengzhou-Wuhan by train of D141 0649-1045AM (B/L/-)

Morning, be transferred to railway station to take the train to Wuhan.
Afternoon, have a half day tour to Yellow Crane Pavilion, Hubei Provincial Museum and East Lake Park. After sightseeing, transfer to your hotel and free on your own.

Day 08 Wuhan-Guangzhou by train of G1001 0900-1157AM (B/L/-)

After a nice Breakfast at your hotel you will be transferred to Wuhan Railway Station. From there you probably will start your very first experience in your life time to enjoy the great comfort and excitement brought by the super high speed bullet train in China. This 3-hour train ride will not only show you completely the fantastic natural scenery on both side of the rail as you travel along, but also tells you how the modern technology has shaped our life style. Please take it easy and we hope you enjoy your train ride! When you arrive in Guangzhou, our guide will be waiting for you in the railway station. He or she will transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, be driven to your hotel for check-in. Free afternoon on your own explore to Guangzhou city.

Day 09 Guangzhou-Hong Kong by morning train (B/-/-)

After breakfast, be transferred to railway station to take the train to Hong Kong. End of your memorable travel in China by Super-High-Speed Train.
