Day 1

Shanghai   (No meal included)

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the guide and be transferred to your hotel in the city center.

Day 2

Shanghai   (B, L, D)

Visits : Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road

After breakfast enjoy a half day tour of Shanghai Museum & Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. In the afternoon travel to a very important landmark of Shanghai the Bund on the western bank of the Huangpu River. Afterwards take a walk along the famous commercial street in Shanghai, Nanjing Road. At night, enjoy a short cruise over Huangpu River to appreciate the night view of the city.

Lunch: A Ying Bao Restaurant
The restaurant is located at No. 239 Shanxi South Road Huangpu District. It mainly serves local dishes. It is popular among local people for its braised food.
Dinner: Renjian Bi Feng Tang Restaurant
Experience the taste authentic local Shanghai cuisines.

Day 3

Shanghai   (B, L)

Visits : Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Old Street, Shanghai Xintiandi Plaza

After breakfast visit to The Jade Buddha Temple which features the architectural style of the Song Dynasty with a precise layout and harmonious structure. Then the tour takes you to Yuyuan Garden. This afternoon is free for you to walk along Shanghai Old Street, a kind of open-air market where you can buy trinkets and souvenirs. Then, be guided around Shanghai Xintiandi, where you can experience the perfect blending of old and modern Shanghai.

The restaurant mainly serves Japanese barbecue food.

Day 4

Shanghai -> Suzhou   (B, L)

Visits : Tongli Town, Tiger Hill

This morning you will be driven to Suzhou. After that, begin today´s tour with a visit to Tongli, an ancient water town along the Grand Canal. The pretty and rustic town is well-known for its running water, stone bridges, peaceful atmosphere as well as long history. Crowned as "Small Oriental Venice", the intact ancient town is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle in big cities.
After lunch climb to the popular tourist destination-Tiger Hill. It is known for its natural beauty as well as historical sites with poetry and calligraphy carved into rocks.
 

Day 5

Suzhou -> Hangzhou   (B, L)

Visits : Humble Administrator Garden

This morning enjoy your time in Humble Administrator´s Garden, the most beautiful garden in China. This afternoon head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train ride to Hangzhou.

Day 6

Hangzhou   (B, L)

Visits : West Lake, Lingyin Temple

This morning you will enjoy a short boat ride over the picturesque West Lake. Then pay a visit to Meijiawu Tea Village. In the afternoon pay a visit to Lingyin Temple which is the biggest Buddhist temple in southeast of China and the nearby Peak Flying Afar. Afterwards, have a walk along Hefang Street.

Enjoy the authentic Cantonese food inside the famous shopping mall in Hangzhou.

Day 7

Hangzhou -> Guilin   (B, L)

Visits : Elephant Trunk Hill, Wave Subduing Hill (Fubo Hill)

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin. In the afternoon our guide will take you to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill & Fubo Hill.

Lunch: Guilin QianShui Wan Restaurant
This restaurant is located in the city center;west of the LiberationBridge. You can enjoy a good view of the Li River and the Seven Star Park.

Day 8

Guilin -> Yangshuo   (B, L)

Visits : Lijiang River, the Symphony of Karst Peaks, West Street (Xi Jie) in Yangshuo

After enjoying your breakfast make this day special with trip on the Li River Cruise to witness the spectacular limestone rock formations and rural life along the riverbanks. After lunch stop at Yangshuo, a small town set in the lush rice paddies and surrounded by meandering rivers and limestone peaks. After that, stroll down West Street to get the local color.
 

Day 9

Yangshuo -> Guilin -> Xian   (B, L, D)

Visits : Reed Flute Cave(Lu Di Yan),the Most Popular Karst Cave on Earth

After breakfast you will be driven to Guilin where you can pay a visit to Reed Flute Cave. Reed Flute Cave is known as a Palace of Natural Art. It is full of stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes and sizes, which, with the aid of a multicolored lighting system, resembles a scene from Journey to the Center of the Earth. The cave was also a frequent refuge for the local people escaping bandits and war in the past. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Xian. In the evening, you will go and enjoy Tang Dynasty Show and taste Chinese dumplings.

Day 10

Xian   (B, L)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, Great Mosque, Muslim Street(Huimin Street)

This morning visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. They were discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. In the afternoon walk along the old streets of the Muslim area and visit the Grand Mosque.

Lunch: Xian Fan Zhuang
Considered as the priority when tourists come to Xian because it is famous for various local snacks with well-decorated interior.

Day 11

Xian -> Lhasa   (B, L)

Today pay a visit to the Shaanxi History Museum, which was one of the first state museums with modern facilities in Chinaand it houses over 300,000 items. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Lhasa.

Day 12

Lhasa   (B, L)

Visits : Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace

Today starts from Potala Palace, the symbol of Lhasa and the regional capital of Tibet. Then go to Jokhang Monastery. Of course, you should not miss Barkhor Street nearby, the biggest bazaar for the Tibetans.

Day 13

Visits : Norbulingka, Drepung Monastery

Today pay a visit to Norbulingka a summer resort of the Dalai Lamas, where they take care of local affairs. In the afternoon visit Drepung Monastery (Vault of the Crops in Tibetan). Also known as the Tibetan Library, it is famous for the frequently held debates on Buddhist doctrines
 

Day 14

Lhasa -> Chongqing -> Three Gorges Area   (B, D)

This morning you are free to spend time sightseeing at your leisure before being transferred to the airport and take flight to Chongqing where you will travel to Ciqikou Ancient Town a small town with a history of more than 1,800 years and unique cultural characteristics. It is typical of the peaceful laid-back life in the Sichuan countryside. At night be transferred to the pier to board the cruise ship. The fantastic Yangtze River cruise is coming.

Day 15

Three Gorges Area   (B, L, D)

Visits : Fengdu Ghost Town

This morning sail on the Yangtze River. Enjoy a shore excursion to Shibaozhai Pagoda, a 12-storey wooden pagoda built in Qing Dynasty. After the tour, you will return to the ship.

Day 16

Three Gorges Area -> Yichang   (B, L, D)

Visits : White Emperor City (Baidi Town)

Today you will pass through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. In the afternoon take an excursion to the Goddess Stream. Tomorrow you will arrive in Yichang.

Day 17

Yichang -> Beijing   (B, L)

Today our guide will take you to the Three Gorges Dam which is considered the greatest water construction in China. After the visit, go back to the ship and have lunch before disembarking. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Beijing.

Day 18

Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Summer Palace

After breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. This afternoon leave for the Summer Palace. Well-known for its large and priceless collection of cultural relics, Summer Palace was among the first group of historical and cultural heritage sites in China to be placed under special state protection. Afterwards, you will enjoy a rickshaw tour in the old Hutong and visit a local family.

This evening, enjoy the fantastic Beijing Opera (seat in the VIP area).

Dawanju serves Beijing and Chongqing style food as well as the famous Beijing Duck.Their service is great too.
Dinner: Ba Guo Bu Yi
Beijing Ba guobuyirestaurant serves some of the heartiest and most authentic Sichuan fare in town with its traditional Chinese style decorations. Favorite dishes include dandan noodles in spicy peanut-sesame-garlic sauce, lazijiding (chicken smothered in chilies), steamed fish served with chili-oil sauce and huiguorou (twice-cooked pork).
 

Day 19

Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : The Great Wall of China

 

Today we visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the most visited section of the Great Wall of China. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location´s strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. After having lunch pay a visit to Changling, one of the thirteen Ming Tombs. It is the tomb of Zhu Di, the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. This evening, you will go to taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous Roast Duck restaurant in China.
